Back to work: Tanzanian workers back after strike…
BUSINESS resumed at all National Micro Finance Bank (NMB) branches in Dar es Salaam yesterday following the High Court order on Tuesday that nullified the workers’ strike.
A random survey by the ‘Daily News’ yesterday revealed that customers enjoyed the services after the workers had gone on strike on Monday.
At the NMB Bank House and NMB Headquarters in Dar es Salaam, there were long queues of customers who complained of poor service.
“This is a bitter moment for one to experience. I just arrived from Arusha and I was expected to return back today after processing my pension claims from Treasury. But I was shocked to find that the ATM machines had no money. It’s really embarrassing,” said Mr William Mrina Lyimo, a pensioner from Arusha.
